This is my #1 rub for ribs and chicken wings and works great on pulled pork and burnt ends too. When I lived down south, people used to call me by my first two initials – WT – and of course with the southern drawl, it comes out as “Dubbya T’. This was the first BBQ rub I developed so might as well name it after myself, right?
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup Spanish paprika
- 2 tbsp Black pepper - medium grind
- 2 tbsp Kosher salt - Diamond Crystal
- 1 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Cayenne powder
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp Mustard powder
Instructions
- Shake well and store in airtight container.
